Society for Clinical Researchers in Pharmacology (SCRIP)

SCRIP is a non-profit professional organization of physicians and pharmacologists dedicated to maintaining the highest ethical and procedural standards in clinical pharmacological research. Founded in 1997 by a group of experienced professionals, the members provide exceptional clinical research services to the pharmaceutical industry. The membership is represented by 29 investigators with expertise in 50 areas of mental disorders and mental syndromes. The investigators are located across the United States and represent a tremendous resource to one another concerning clinical trials. The Society for Clinical Researchers in Pharmacology has regularly scheduled meetings to further advance clinical pharmacological research.
• To identify and organize a select group of physicians and pharmacologists who are committed to conducting high quality clinical pharmacological research.
 
• To support young investigators and further their careers in clinical research.
 
• To disseminate scientific information on a wide range of issues and topics related to pharmacology and the conduct of clinical trials.
 
• To promote a productive interchange between investigators and the pharmaceutical industry on issues of mutual interest.
 
• To foster collegiality among clinical investigators.
 
• To provide a forum for members to address ongoing issues and changes in the pharmaceutical research industry.
 
• To support publication of research findings in the scientific literature.
